In gesprek met Jurjen Dijkstra

Naar aanleiding van de navraag naar activiteiten en inzamelingsacties in de Grutte Gelf, had ik ook contact met Jurjen Dijkstra. Dit omdat wij zelf ook al jaren doppen verzamelen voor het goede doel en ik daarom ook deze inzamelingsactie wilde benoemen. De doppen die Jurjen inzamelt gaan naar een organisatie die geld inzamelen voor de opleiding van blinde geleidehonden. Zo’n opleiding is erg kostbaar. Het professioneel fokken, opvoeden en opleiden van een goede geleidehond is een flinke investering, dit kost gemiddeld € 40.000,-.

De doppen spaaractie heeft Jurjen Dijkstra opgepakt nadat Sjoerd ‘Dopke’, die in Berchhiem hiervoor spaarde dit niet meer kon, en daarna werd door Corona de inzameling helemaal gestaakt. Jurjen heeft het daarna op zich genomen. Jaren zijn de ingezamelde doppen naar Drachten gegaan waar ze verder werden vervoerd naar een ander inzamelpunt. Sinds een tijdje gaan de doppen nu naar Janet’s Dierenrijk in Harkema. Nu Jurjen en Janny zijn verhuisd is Thea Spinder, It Langpaad 6 het nieuwe inzamelpunt in Surhuizum. Tevens is het mogelijk om de doppen in te leveren bij Janet’s Dierenrijk op de Warmoltstrjitte in Harkema.

Plastic doppen die u kunt sparen zijn alle: flessendoppen, deksels van zoals bijvoorbeeld pindakaaspotten. Doppen van stiften, lippenbalsem, shampoo’s deodorant. Wel schoon. Tip doe de doppen in uw bestekmandje van de vaatwasser. 

Geen vieze doppen, zachtere deksels zoals bijvoorbeeld van margarine. Ook de doppen met aluminium erin kunnen er niet bij.
